2000 on the button.

So notice that there is one "up close and personal" Acolyte squad with only nine models. This is where Coteaz goes. Note that this gives each squad 10 bodies, and allows the Librarian to ride in ANY of those Stormravens. This is important, because the Stormravens will be close together, and if the Librarian's ride gets wrecked, he will be able to mount up in one of the nearby Ravens and have room to embark.

The Stormravens would probably turbo-boost every turn until you are ready to assault. The Librarian casts the Shrouding from inside the central Stormraven and gives all three of them a 3++ cover save at all times. This will make them really obnoxious to try and kill.

The three rifle-dreads and Razorback teams move up to midfield and start shooting into your enemy. 12 TL S8 shots, 9 TL S6 shots and 54 S4 shots should start grinding them down. The Stormravens can put Multimelta shots into tanks early on and highly accurate Plasma cannon shots into squads later on. And of course when you are ready to "commit" the Stormravens can move 12", shoot Multimeltas at hard targets while their passengers disembark, shoot meltaguns then assault.

Thoughts?

I'm working on Part II of the Blood Angels army, should be coming tomorrow night. This is something I threw together in response to a thread on a local forum. Feedback appreciated.
